I had the idea for Siamo Di Plastica back in 2019 after I was having one of my daily day dreams of me wearing an outfit that does not yet exist.
(I have these a lot)
I found my self reminiscing occasionally about my old Barbie, Polly Pocket and Bratz outfits. The perfect little curated outfits that simply made my childhood rememberable. Literally though, as I still could remember the details many years later in my adult life. If you were a huge doll fan like me as a child you will remember the complete escapism it was to dress these girls up, I simply LIVED for it. Skirts size of a belt, Mesh tops, pink dainty stilettos or thigh high platform boots that at the age of 8 I could have only dreamt about being able to wear. I say this now as a very proud owner of some quite fascinating platform boots. I wanted to get my ideas out there for others can get to dress like the doll they idolised as a kid. I dont know about everyone else but when I put on an outfit I adore, I genuinley feel invinsible. The world is my oyester, NOTHING can stand in my way on a day I'm dressed as an icon like my Bratz dolls were. So,here she is, Siamo Di Plastica. My love letter to my younger, emotional, insecure, little self. I hope you love my clothes as much as I do.
